Watersport Centres - Fishing, Surfing and Windsurfing
More than few companies now offer a variety of fishing experiences: game fishing, bottom fishing and pier fishing are all available in Sal, Boavista and Santiago. It is also possible to join local fishermen on their trips out at sea.
Catches include wahoo, blue and white marlin, shark, yellow-fin tuna, groupers, sailfish, spearfish, morays and goldfish. The fishing season is at its best between July and October.

Cabo Verde Fishing Center offers different kind of fishing technique:
- Deep Fishing: Parrot fish, breams, bottom groupers of different species, lutjanids and so on will find their way in the fisherman’s bag.
- Trawling: Only few miles from the coastline, yellowfin tunas, dolphin fish, sailfish, trevallies, tropical groupers, almaco jacks and sharks are the more common species caught all the year long in these waters.
- Big Game: The fascination of the hunt for a true King of the Ocean, the marlin.
- Surfcasting: Fish included in the catch: breams of various species, biche, trevallies, jewfish.
Please Note: All the equipment and bait, both natural and artificial, are included in the price for the customers.
Depending on which fishing technique you want to use, the centre offers half-day fishing trips: morning or afternoon and full-day fishing trips.

To book your fishing trip first of all you have to decide:
- What kind of fishing technique you want to use.
- What boat you choose, depending on the number of passengers.
- How many days you plan to go out fishing.
Please Note: The price for the excursion is independent from the number of passengers. The cost for the boat is fixed and it’s independent from its capacity: the boat price is the same even if it’s used only by one single person.
WITHOUT commitment and ON THE SPOT it’s possible to put together several people, in this case the participation price is shared.
